We pledge $ ______________________ toward Sarah's work on the following:

1. Assist in Igor Berkunsky's project on site in Chaco, Argentina, September 2005 - February 2006 to further the scientific knowledge needed for the wild Blue-fronted Amazons' health and survival.

2. Perform her own research project, working on methods of parrot-census to determine population size. Sarah will also record Blue-front vocalizations in a pilot study, considering what might be learned from this behavioral measure.

The check can be made out directly to "Sarah Faegre", or it can be made out to "The Amazona Society" (with a note on the check that it is for the "Blue-front Project"). The Amazona Society is a nationally recognized 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of wild and captive Amazon parrots - see www.amazonasociety.org . They have agreed to be a sponsor for Sarah's work and will forward the full amout to Sarah for the project, and this would make your donation tax deductible. In either case, please send this form and the check directly to Sarah Faegre.

All who donate to this project will be presented with a certificate of their donation and be thanked in the end-of-season Newsletter, which Sarah will write and circulate widely to interested parties. Donor will also receive periodic e-mails (as access to town allows) updating the work with the Blue-fronted Amazons throughout her six-month stay. Before her departure to Argentina and after her return she will be available to provide a slide show and discussion of her work for a donor's employees, members, or customers. She would only ask for travel assistance to your location from Portland, Oregon.
